Dungeons And Dragons: 10 Best Subclasses You Need To Play!

4. Sorcerer - Divine Soul Origin

Templar Dungeons and Dragons
Marvel Comics

You don’t always get to have ideal party composition. The group I’m a DM for right now is incredibly powerful at level 11, but has absolutely no ability to conduct stealth operations. That’s why the Divine Soul Sorcerer might be a perfect choice for a small-group mage.\

This sorcerer’s origins allows them access to all spells within the Cleric list, which is incredibly advantageous. This means you can balance between brutal damaging spells like Disintegrate, then turn around and heal your allies with a well-timed Cure Wounds.

Other abilities give you the chance to add dice to a crucial roll once per short rest for those can’t-fail scenarios, angelic wings that give you the freedom of flight, and, oh yeah, a capstone that lets you health yourself for half of your maximum hit points!

Divine Soul Sorcerers is Heavenly for the player who is interested in balancing damage and healing. Look this one up and raise a little Hell.
