3. WAHBAM! There It Is! (2009)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXN7vLPsDSM&feature=kp Microsoft's foray into the world of motion gaming was never really going to be a major success. The Kinect (or Project Natal as it was known back in 2009) never really seemed to be a major hit with audiences; it was just a little too pointless. The Wii had managed to adapt motion controls and apply them to pre-existing genres to create games that were fun for everybody. Project Natal simply didn't have the same effect on people and Microsoft's 2009 Conference highlighted this fantastically. Microsoft could have showcased a series of killer games to demonstrate the power of the Natal. Instead, they decided to show how it could answer questions we've never asked, like "what does the bottom of an avatar's shoe look like?" Thankfully, Natal was on hand in 2009 to answer this vital question. Just having the bottom of the shoe shown would seem weird though, so Microsoft recruited a developer to lead into the conference's key moment. First, he asked the all important question to the audience before exclaiming "WAHBAM! There it is!". If only everybody shared in his glee. Even better though, the sheer excitement of showing his foot off for the first time overwhelms the avatar and it gets all in a tangle, bending its leg into its torso; it's fair to say there were still some bugs in Natal's software. Still, at least we finally had that major question answered.

I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
