4. Witcher III Gameplay

Fantasy RPGs have been part and parcel of gaming history, but recently CD Projekt Red has gotten a lot of buzz for their Witcher games. Based on a series of Polish novels, the games are known for their incredible graphics as well as their gameplay and storytelling. But they€™ve mostly stayed out of the console space, with the exception of The Witcher II. Showcasing Witcher III on Xbox One was brilliant for a few reasons. First, it shows off how good the game looks, even on a console that€™s somewhat underpowered compared to the competition, never mind PC. Second, it shows off a lot of the gameplay variety and the open world of the game, which is always hard to do in a short on stage demo. Third, it had enough narration from the developer to explain what was going to people who haven€™t played the other games, making what was going on clear to everyone. It was a successful crossover from cult title to the mainstream, something many games can€™t boast.
