1. Male Or Female Link? Take Your Pick!

This, unlike the voice acting idea, would at least be somewhat simple to include. Considering that the main prophecy of Link and the Hero of Legend never included specifics in regards to gender, this would be a potential idea that allows for more player choice than in previous Zelda games.

Starting with the selection of 'New Game' at the beginning start screen, players would finally be given the chance to select from a 'Male' and 'Female' Link. It would immediately draw more players in, as they finally have a significant decision to make right away, aside from picking what the player's protagonist will be named.

Likeliness of being true: 6/10.

There's a slight chance that Nintendo WILL make major changes, but the option to choose the gender for the protagonist may not be included in those changes.

However, this would tie into the 'Western influence' comment, as well as Aonuma's refusal to state Link's gender in this particular game. There have been many Zelda fans that have been a part of this franchise since the original, and it's time to reward the fanbase with a sense of evolution.

It's about time fans have the chance to add an even more personal touch to Link, helping the Hero of Legend develop into a hero truly worth all the admiration.
