E3 2016: 10 Outrageous Rumours We Hope Come True
3. Fable Legends Lives After All
Over the last two years, Fable Legends was switched between being on and off more times than Ross and Rachel did over ten seasons of Friends. Earlier this year it was confirmed as being completely dead and Lionhead Studios closed in April.
Game over, right?
Well, perhaps not. Rumours of the rights to the Fable franchise being eyed by other developers have started to sprout, and the internet is always the best place to add water to such seedlings. Fable is obviously a series that many fans hold closely to their hearts, and it's definitely not a series that deserves to have suffered such an unceremonious death as this.
Former Lionhead developers are currently working on a crowdfunded game known as Fable Fortune, set to be a card collecting game, so there's also still a big interest in this series for developers as well. If a deal has been struck to revive the series properly, E3 2016 would be the perfect place for Microsoft to make the announcement and give Fable fans the incredible news they've been dreaming of.
