E3 2016: 6 Ups & 4 Downs From Bethesda's Conference
3. That Dishonored 2 Gameplay Trailer
Despite Bethesda's general presentation of Dishonored 2 being sluggish and overlong, they concluded with a terrific gameplay trailer that pretty much sold the game in just over two minutes, making the prior 20 minutes of guff almost totally pointless.
The trailer was pretty much a super-cut of the gameplay shown throughout the presentation, emphasising the characters, world-building and insane action while being free of irritating voiceovers and the more dull gameplay sections shown off earlier on.
Perhaps if Bethesda had opened their Dishonored 2 demo with this trailer, we might not have felt quite so crestfallen about the game's fairly tedious unveiling overall.
