E3 2016: 6 Ups & 5 Downs From EA's Conference

10. Too. Much. Sport.

This shouldn't be a surprise to any regular E3 viewer, but yes, as usual, EA's conference was jam-packed with more sports talk than even fans of those games probably desire.

Madden 17 was briefly featured, though the bulk of the sporting sidebar was of course devoted to FIFA 17, as well as playing up EA's commitment to building their own eSports brand.

Considering that the conference was only an hour long, devoting so much time to games that the fans are going to buy year-in and year-out regardless of quality just seems like a waste of time.

Then again, these are the games that bring in so much money for EA, so it makes sense that they'd want to show them off for the sake of investors and company executives. For the rest of us, it's pretty dull, though.
