In addition to the Xbox One S landing in August, 2017's holiday season will see the release of Microsoft's Project Scorpio, a high-end Xbox One which not only supports 4K but also VR gaming, and boasts a meaty six teraflops of power.
In short, it will reportedly be the most powerful console ever released when it hits stores, and Phil Spencer stated that the reason for the absurdly early announcement is to give developers time to get their very best titles ready for its launch.
