E3 2016: 9 Ups & 5 Downs From Sony's Conference

2. Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding Is The Most Hideo Kojima Thing Ever

Hideo Kojima showed up to reveal a teaser trailer for his latest project, which is exactly as bats*** crazy as you'd expect.

The trailer follows human handprints appearing in some soil before we come across a naked man (played by Norman Reedus), who gets up and finds himself attached to a baby with a tendril-like umbilical cord.

The baby then disappears as he cradles it, before the man's hands are covered in oil, and the blackened handprints of the baby begin making marks on his body.

The man then gets back to his feet and reveals a cross-like umbilical scar before he stares out at the ocean, where thousands of dead fish (including some giant whales) surround him and black, angel-like figures appear in the sky.

It was totally crazy and just what you'd hope to see Kojima working on outside the constraints of both Metal Gear Solid and Konami. Get hype.
