E3 2017: 14 Announcements You Probably Missed
10. Metal Gear Survive Has Been Delayed
Granted, there are a lot of Metal Gear fans who would love this franchise spin-off, which has zero involvement from Hideo Kojima following his acrimonious split from Konami, to go away and never come back, but Konami has quietly confirmed that the game is moving into the "early 2018" release window.
The game was actually playable at E3, though several outlets reported that it seems to be a pretty low-quality affair, and therefore only likely to appeal to the most hardcore MGS fans. Also, when prodded about the single player, Konami said they weren't ready to talk about it yet, which isn't a great sign.
Hopefully the extra dev time will help tighten things up, but it's best to keep expectations low for this one.
