9. Capcom Is Working On An Unannounced Resident Evil Game

The Resident Evil franchise is such a huge beast that it's not terribly surprising to hear that Capcom is working on another Resident Evil game, though Capcom stopped short of actually revealing what the game is.

The clues indicate that it isn't Resident Evil 2 Remake, it will be directed by Yasuhiro Anpo (Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil: Revelations 2), will focus on well-known franchise characters and will aim for an old-school survival horror tone.

The smart money is probably on Resident Evil: Revelations 3, though as Capcom proved with their shock reveal of Resident Evil 7 last year, nothing is certain until it's out in the wild.
