E3 2018: 10 "Problems" People Are Overreacting About
1. No Final Fantasy VII Remake
As hotly anticipated as Final Fantasy VII Remake might be, the fact that it was a no-show at E3 isn't exactly a big surprise. It'll come when it comes.
This is the big problem with highly anticipated games. Although the hype makes it extremely exciting, it also means that any time the game doesn't appear at a big event, people are liable to get upset.
The way that Final Fantasy VII's development has been going lately made it extremely unlikely that we'd be seeing the game any time soon. As it stands right now, it's just not ready to be shown and that's fine. Kingdom Hearts III should be Square's focus right now anyway.
Nomura has recently confirmed that the game is now in full development and that he's putting his full attention on it as soon as Kingdom Hearts III is released, so we shouldn't be waiting too long till we get to see it again.
