E3 2018: 10 Ups & 5 Downs From Microsoft's Conference

3. That Infuriating Skate 4 Troll

Session Game
Microsoft

If you know any Skate fans, it's probably wise to give them a big, long hug right about now. It's been a tough couple of days for fans of the popular skating game franchise, after it was widely expected that Skate 4 would debut at EA's show on Saturday night...but it ultimately no-showed.

All hope was lost, but then a trailer for a new, unnamed skating game came out of nowhere during Microsoft's show. The game looked a whole lot like what most fans expected Skate 4 to be...but the end of the trailer revealed it to be an entirely new IP called Session.

Session comes from French studio Crea-ture Studios and was originally backed on Kickstarter, and as neat as it looks, it's sadly not Skate 4. Just when Skate fans thought their prayers had been answered, what an hilariously cruel way to dash them once more.

Session meanwhile releases next year on Xbox One and PC.
