E3 2018: 15 Announcements You Probably Missed
13. Yoshi For Switch Has Been Delayed To 2019
A lot of Nintendo fans were wondering about the absence of the new Yoshi platformer at E3, which was of course announced at last year's show and seemed set to drop sometime this year.
Well, Nintendo quietly moved the game's release date to 2019 on its product listing page this week, and when Kotaku made follow-up inquiries, Nintendo's Bill Trinen replied, "We’ll have updates later this year."
Considering that Nintendo has actually been pretty on-the-ball with releasing Switch games in a reasonable time period and not delaying titles, it's hard to get too mad about this one. Still, no Yoshi for another 6-9 months.
