E3 2019: 10 Most Disappointing Video Game No-Shows
7. Dino Crisis
In the past few years, we've gotten incredible remakes of games like Crash Bandicoot, Shadow of the Colossus and Resident Evil 2. Naturally, that has led many gamers to speculate what kind of games might get the treatment next.
The game that gets requested more than any other is Dino Crisis. If you're unfamiliar with the series, Dino Crisis is survival-horror set on an island infested with deadly dinosaurs.
So yeah, basically Jurassic Park fan-fic.
What makes Dino Crisis seem like a no-brainer for a remake is that it was made by Capcom; the same studio that has ported and remade the original Resident Evil more times than we've written about what Rocksteady is up to.
Capcom seems keen on remaking and re-releasing every single Resident Evil, so why not Dino Crisis?
They've also been firing on all cylinders for the past few years, with Resident Evil 7, Resident Evil 2 Remake, Devil May Cry 5 and Monster Hunter World. It's been 17 years since the last Dino Crisis and a ground-up remake seems inevitable. Well, it didn't happen at E3 2019 but, as is Microsoft's motto, there's always next year.
