E3 2019: 10 Video Game Reveals That NEED To Happen

9. EA Announces A Proper Roadmap For Anthem

Without kicking a dead horse too much, Anthem has been a total disaster. The game has gotten even more disappointing since launch, as EA and Bioware have scaled back their plans, removing the DLC roadmap in favour of fixing the broken parts of the game first. Consequently, players who haven't jumped ship have no real reason to stick around, as there's nothing concrete for them to look forward to.

While EA do have a long way to go with Anthem, at the very least they need to reintroduce the roadmap at E3. Remaining players need to know for sure how the developers plan to support the live service going forward, and if EA don't say anything about their expansion plans come June, then there's no way they'd be able to wrangle back any confidence in the product.

We know the company are scaling back their plans for the conference, and won't have a regular keynote, but it's absolutely essential that they provide an update on Anthem, and introduce a concrete plan for the future.
