E3 2019: 11 Leaked Video Games You're Not Supposed To Know About

7. Darksiders: Genesis

THQ

Ever since the original Darksiders, it's been assumed we'd eventually end up with four full games. Mainly because each title centres on a different one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, the run-up to Darksiders 3 was the first time we had a major shakeup, as THQ went bust, forcing cobbled together studio Gunfire Games to fulfil the series' promise to fans instead.

This gave us remasters of the original two titles, and the actually-solid-as-a-throwback-action-title Darksiders III, but that fabled fourth instalment was forever left open to speculation.

That was, until a listing on the official E3 website detailed "a brand new Darksiders game" that "takes the franchise in a fresh direction"

- UPDATE -

Thanks to IGN posting the game's first trailer as I was writing this, it appears the "fresh direction" for the series is to imitate Diablo/dungeon crawlers in general. Development has shifted over to Battle Chasers: Nightwar devs, Airship Syndicate.

Is this the only game planned, or will the full panel still have something to show? We'll find out on June 13th.
