E3 2019: 9 Last-Minute Rumours You NEED To Know

5. A New Alien Game

Alien Isolation

Pretty much ever since SEGA released Alien: Isolation, fans have been begging for a follow-up. After years of terrible Alien games, that release finally nailed the sci-fi universe in video game form, but sadly soft sales put the breaks on anyone financing a proper sequel. And, despite the occasional leak here and there, it seems as though developers Creative Assembly are busy on other projects.

However, a recent tweet suggests that another Alien game is coming soon. On June 3, a writer on The Outer Worlds, Mass Effect and The Elder Scrolls Online tweeted out a cryptic picture of Newt from Aliens with the caption "SOON". Now, admittedly, that isn't much to go on, but it was enough to get picked up by a bunch of outlets, and its timing just before E3 does make it a little suspect.

SEGA isn't just going to let the Alien series lay dormant, and whether or not it's a sequel to Isolation, we could see another instalment announced sooner rather than later.
