Bethesda are in a bit of a tricky place this E3. Their reputation has taken a hit after a string of disappointing titles, and their two biggest projects that fans are looking forward to - Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI - are confirmed to be sitting out the conference entirely. Consequently, many fans are wondering what that leaves the publisher to actually show off, as once they've talked more about Wolfenstein: Youngblood and Doom: Eternal, there aren't many major reveals left.

Well, except from The Evil Within 3.

The second game in the horror franchise was low-key one of the scariest titles to release this generation, with a strong set of mechanics and an ambition to push the genre forward into uncharted territory. It's only been a year and a half since that game came out, which could mean an announcement for a third title may be a bit too premature, but we do know that Shinji Mikami will be at E3.

Though he didn't direct the second game as he did the first, it was still his studio who crafted it, and his presence could indicate that he's back on directorial duties for the next instalment.
