Elder Scrolls 6: 5 Things We Do Want To See (And 5 We Don't)
4. Do: New Races To Play As
The character creation suite in the Elder Scrolls games has been pretty consistent with their race options. The setlist of choices has a fair amount of variety, with different consequences and buffs available for each option. This leads to some real thought when it comes to how you want to play the game, and for role-playing fans, there is a feeling of being spoilt for choice.
That being said, as all sequels should, things should get bigger. It would be exciting to add in another playable race (or two) to expand the world out a little and give players new character options. There is no loss to taking this option as well, for any purists who dislike the idea can ignore the newer possibilities and stick to what they already know.
With new games come new expansions, and the developers have an excellent opportunity to tread out the world of the game even more than they already have. Adding a new playable race would go a long way to achieving this goal.
