Elder Scrolls: Every Daedra Lord RANKED From Worst To Best

7. Boethiah

Boethiah is one of the major Daedra in the lore, with domain over deceit, conspiracy, assassination, and treason. The Prince of Plots as that list alone suggests, commands a number of very interesting, if morally murky, ideas.

Beyond that core sphere of influence, Boethiah is also directly related to the lore of the Dumner. Like Malacath, this direct relationship with one of the series's playable races affords Boethiah a sense of presence and importance that the weaker Daedra don't have. As god-ancestor to the Dumner, Boethiah inspired the Chimer (the Dumner's ancestors) to settle in Morrowind.

Boethiah also happens to be associated with some excellent pieces of gear, including the Ebony Mail and Goldbrand. More to the point, the quests given to acquire these items feel right; which is to say, appropriate to deceit, treason, and assassination.

The result is that encounters with Boethiah tend to be memorable and feel like they belong to a long line of in-world history. These are stories which feel more tangible, more engaging, and as such far better than some more measly offerings from ambiguous Daedra.
