Elder Scrolls Online: 13 Key Tips To Keeping Us All Playing

11. Hold More Large-Scale Events

The Elder Scrolls Online will feature a number of large-scale events that anyone and everyone will be able to participate in, with the main one being the "dark anchors" that feature a terrifying anchor being dropped from a large circular portal into the Earth's crust after which waves of monsters emerge from the anchor that you have to stop. These events happen randomly and semi-rarely but they are a great deal of fun, and it would be a fantastic idea if Bethesda took this concept and spread it out over numerous aspects to get players engaged in playing the game more as a community rather than individually. These events wouldn't have to be violent like with the dark anchors, they could be simple tournaments for professions like gathering or even a set of races. One could even stick with the violence and explore the possibility of large Player versus Environment battles where large floods of enemies storm through a certain area like a valley which you then all have to defend and protect. In any case, doing these would certainly keep players interested in coming back to the game every so often, especially if their friends were to suddenly message them asking for their help in completing an event.
