The Elder Scrolls VI: 10 Awesome Locations That Could Be Used

7. Summerset Isles

The Altmer homeland features three major islands off the coast of the Tamriel mainland. Ruled by the aristocratic Thalmor, a game on these islands would most definitely feature a strong political narrative, perhaps something similar to the Orlesian plot lines in Dragon Age: Inquisition. Geographically, the islands provide for a different kind of exploration, yet for climate and landscape, all that is known is that it is a space strongly filled with magic. Architecture in the main city of Alinor is composed of glass-like fortresses and crystal castles. The Stormcloak general Galmer Stone-Fist mentions a possible future invasion to the Summerset Isles, which could provide an interesting story for the next game, where the player/protagonist could be the catalyst in such an event. It would be intriguing as well to see how Bethesda would construct such an ambiguous landscape.
