Every Call Of Duty Campaign Ranked Worst To Best
14. Call Of Duty 3
As with Call of Duty, CoD 3 put its focus on various aspects of the Second World War. With an ability to play as an American, British, Polish or Canadian soldier, the game was set on the Western Front around the Battle of Normandy.
Perhaps the most remarkable aspect of the game is that it even exists, given the fact that Treyarch managed to put it together in only eight months.
As impressive as this is though, it's also the biggest problem with the game, which isn't quite as immersive or meticulously detailed as others in the franchise. Its gameplay is more refined than the first game in the series, but CoD 3 also doesn't do anything massively innovative to make itself stand out.
Once again, it's a fun little game that deserves props for being made in such a short time period, but other than that it's a generic slice of WW2 action that falls short of the franchise's later greatness.
