7. Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues

This second attempt at translating the Indiana Jones movies into Lego form focused more closely on the fourth film in the series, the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, whilst re-introducing key moments of the original trilogy through different levels to those in the original game.

The results here are less to do with the quality of the product and more to do with the film it was based on. As the only game on this list to directly reference the 2009 movie sequel, it's certainly not the fault of Lego or Traveller's Tales that the source material is a little lacking. The humour is still there in abundance and as co-op experiences go, the Lego games are always fun no matter the story.

On a positive note, Lego Indiana Jones 2 marked one of the first Lego games to adopt the newer split screen mode that would later carry through to just about every other licensed game in the series, which allowed players to move freely away from each other instead of being rubber banded like earlier entries. But those improvements, along with plenty of content, didn't quite hit the same high mark.

Born in Ireland and raised in Australia, Mark still wishes his Tetris and Mario Kart skills could translate to the real world more than just writing about games for nearly 20 years. Still, can't complain.
