Every Indiana Jones Video Game Ranked Worst To Best
8. Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade (NES)
It's worth mentioning this 1991 release for the original Nintendo Entertainment System because of how it compares to other attempts to adapt the Last Crusade story into video game form.
This Taito-published title stands as the only game in the entire franchise that gives you a branching path through the story, instead of following the movies word for word. For example, at the very beginning of the game you're given both the dairy of Henry Jones Snr. that leads you down the path to the Holy Grail, as well as a telegram detailing the whereabouts of the Cross of Coronado which, as all Indiana Jones fans will recall, was what young Indy tried to steal back at the beginning of the game. You're then given a choice: start the quest for the Grail or hunt for the Cross.
You'll have plenty of other decisions to make in-game and each one determines which level and in what order you play it all in. There's a ton of different genres represented too, from traditional platforming to Spyhunter-style motorcycle races and puzzles based on the path to the Grail's resting place.
