11. Indiana Jones And The Staff Of Kings

The last big console adventure for Indiana Jones published by LucasArts was the Staff of Kings, released on the Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 2 all the way back in 2009. Here, Indy was tasked with tracking down the fabled staff used by Moses to part the Red Sea, once again trying to beat the Germans to it across various locations.

The Staff of Kings is largely remembered for being another failed attempt at translating the use of a gun, cracking a whip or punching an enemy in the face by way of the Wii's motion controls. As was largely the case during that fabled era of video games, the experience was a little rough around the edges. There was also a co-op mode that featured Henry Jones Snr and the Wii edition included an emulated version of Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis as a bonus, though that didn't quite make up for the experience as a whole.

What's worse, early development originally targeted the PS3 and Xbox 360 using the same engine as Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, until development changed and the Wii was targeted as the main platform instead.

Born in Ireland and raised in Australia, Mark still wishes his Tetris and Mario Kart skills could translate to the real world more than just writing about games for nearly 20 years. Still, can't complain.
