Every Indiana Jones Video Game Ranked Worst To Best
10. Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom
There's only been one recorded Indiana Jones video game that graced the arcades, thanks to Atari in 1985. Temple of Doom did an admirable job of translating the experience of saving a bunch of children from an evil priest who leads a secret cult in ancient and deadly rituals but, more importantly, it allowed you to play through the infamous mine cart chase.
Featuring digital voices taken straight from the movie and the classic John Williams score to back it, Temple of Doom presents a handful of levels that have you using your whip and your wits to proceed through each area with just a few lives to your name. It isn't easy though, and choosing anything other than normal or hard difficulty meant you missed the final showdown with Mola Ram himself.
Temple of Doom made its way to home consoles too, but the experience wasn't quite the same either visually or in gameplay. Most of the ports were limited to fewer levels that cycled over and over, increasing in difficulty each time, and gone were the higher quality audio cues too.
