Everything Removed From GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition
1. A General Sense Of Being A Finished Game
Look, the original GTA games ain't perfect. There's some bits to dislike about how they played and there's an entire another debate about whether they still hold up today gameplay wise, but when they came out, they were generally considered to be pretty high quality, complete games.
In the case of the Definitive Edition, that feeling of Rockstar quality has almost been completely eradicated.
What was one a fond memory has been entirely tarnished by these 'Definitive' (and we use that term loosely) games. They just aren't at the quality you'd expect for someone like Rockstar, who has a pedigree of delivering on their infrequent releases.
The games have far too many bugs, weird issues and other problems for this to be in any way be called the Definitive way to actually play these classic titles. Modders everywhere have done better jobs than this for years, but parent company Take Two went on a crusade earlier this year handing out cease and desist notices to modders like candy on a Halloween night.
What we're left with now is a trilogy that is in no way Definitive, and is in fact one of the worst ways to experience these classic titles.
Grand Theft Auto deserved better.
