Everything Removed From GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition

9. The Floor And Game Textures

GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition REMOVED
Rockstar Games

Something has gone very, very wrong with the GTA Definitive Edition. Whether it was lack of time, difficult porting over to Unreal or countless other problems, but there's just so much wrong with the actual world in all of these titles.

One of the finest examples of this is in San Andreas, when driving through the countryside. Multiple players have reported seeing a massive ravine appear out of nowhere, but you can still drive over it. The game just simply isn't loading in the floor textures correctly.

In a similar vein, multiple people have also showcased problems with CJ sinking completely into the floor, as well as bizarre invisible walls in bushes, and pieces of geometry behaving in completely ridiculous ways.

Here's a bonus for you too: at the edge of San Andreas' map, if you go underwater, there's a bizarre undersea wall blocking you from going any further. Either the developers couldn't be bothered to implement a better solution or the state of San Andreas has been under a dome for all of this time.
