Fallout 3 Anniversary Edition: 9 Longstanding Issues Bethesda Must Fix

3. Add In Mods For All Platforms

Bethesda

Though PC players have enjoyed them for years, Bethesda finally brought mods over to consoles with Fallout 4 and Skyrim Remastered. Of course, the selection was nowhere near as expansive as players thought it would be, but they were still a welcome addition. It gave fans a reason to play through the devs' biggest titles yet another time, awarding them with a taste of a world they'd been tragically missing out on.

Of course, after going through so much trouble to implement them (remember when Sony almost blocked them completely?) it would be a shame to see mod support dropped for this upcoming remaster. After all, the inclusion of mods - hopefully a larger selection of them this time around - would give fans a reason to pick the game up above nostalgia alone.

Fortunately, while some of the other suggestions on this list might simply be pipe dreams - as Bethesda so far haven't really touched their remasters from a mechanical perspective - they have set a precedent with mods, and it would be disappointing if Fallout 3 Anniversary ships without them.
