7. Or Just A Simulation?

There's a shot toward the end of the trailer with a man on a neon clad street. It's pretty intriguing - especially as players won't be finding out who he is until they get their hands on the game itself. The thing is, if viewers peel their eyes away from the mysterious stranger, on the left of the screen is a neon sign that reads 'Memory Den'. This could either be a cool little throwaway reference to Total Recall (or 'We Can Remember It For You Wholesale'), or it could play a part in the central plot. Memory Den certainly suggests that the past is going to play a key part in Fallout 4, but the question now is 'exactly how big a part is it going to play?' What if the player character is compelled to utilise the Memory Den in order to recall events of the past to aid the present? The Fallout Universe has been to stranger places...
