Fallout 4: 10 Biggest WTF Moments From The E3 Demo

4. Weapon Customisation

On its own, this would be no extraordinary announcement, but the extent to which Fallout 4's weapons could be tweaked and altered made this short demo an unexpected highlight. Running through a number of weapons and variants, many of which were new (such as the Junk Jet, the Sniper Laser Rifle and the Pipe Pistol), Bethesda showed off how much each weapon could be adjusted and shaped to suit the player's needs, with myriad attachments and modifications allowing the player to totally transform the functionality of any given weapon. A particularly rousing concept was that shown through the variants of a baseball in which the demo went through a number of different wood and metal types as well as a gamut of lethal modifications ranging from barbed wire to nails, fastened razor blades to circular saw blades. Who hasn't dreamed of taking an aluminium bat covered in razor blades to a ghoul's already rotting face?
