Fallout 4: 10 Crucial Things Fans Still Need To See At E3

8. Ron Perlman's Character

Did you go all warm n' fuzzy inside when he said that line? It was a great moment - followed up spectacularly by Perlman himself throwing up a Facebook status about how he's been keeping the whole project secret for years. This time round Bethesda seem to be ramping up production in terms of voiced characters and mainstream appeal - something that having Ron Perlman as your sage/mentor would go a huge way towards. In the trailer he narrates the entire thing, although with a far darker husk to his voice than usual (making the "War never changes" line such a pleasant surprise when you realise it's him). Could he be someone who perishes in the opening blast, but lives on as an omniscient narrator for your adventures? Perhaps the person in charge of Vault 111 we see you emerging from, or a family relation guiding you through some formative combat-readying steps, Liam Neeson-style? Time will tell - and again the idea of The Narrator being embodied is dividing the fanbase like everything else - but let us know what you think in the comments.
