Fallout 4: 10 Incredible Franchise Moments That Made Us Hardcore Fans

6. Unleashing The Ghouls In Tenpenny Tower In Fallout 3

Sticking only with the main story would be a huge mistake in the world of Fallout. You would be missing out on a giant portion of this rich universe and some really great adventures. One particularly noteworthy one happens at Tenpenny Tower. It€™s a giant building just a little way south of Megaton. It has survived the nuclear apocalypse pretty well and now it is residence to a host of privileged rich people who get to enjoy a level of comfort and safety which is almost unheard of in the Wasteland. Unsurprisingly, this makes Tenpenny Tower a very coveted place, one where other people would also like to live. And even ghouls. Particularly, one ghoul called Roy Phillips and his cohorts. They€™re not really bad guys. All they want is to be allowed to reside in Tenpenny Tower just like everyone else, but their condition makes things difficult. So difficult, in fact, that you are tasked to deal with the problem once and for all. There are several ways this could go down. The most obvious and boring choice is to simply kill all the ghouls. If you€™re a smooth talker, you could eventually convince the residents of Tenpenny Tower to allow the ghouls to move in. If you€™re a fan of mayhem, however, the game offers you a far more entertaining solution €“ access the basement and flood the building with feral ghouls. They€™ll take care of the residents and afterwards Phillips and his gang are free to move in. Phillips even gives you a ghoul mask to hide your identity so you can freely walk through the building without being attacked by ferals. This gives you the opportunity to watch the slaughter up-close as the ghouls kill every last resident of Tenpenny Tower (and loot their bodies afterwards, of course).
