Fallout 4: 10 Key Lessons From 2013's Biggest Games

4. Vehicular Mayhem - Battlefield 4

For all of Battlefield 4's problems with online stability and dodgy net-code, it is a ridiculous amount of fun to play when it actually works. Whether you're riding a tank, APC, gunship or fighter jet, it's an absurd joy waging war against the opposing team with these giant machines of destruction, and helps to differentiate it from its major rival, Call of Duty. One of the biggest requests for the Fallout franchise to date has been the inclusion of vehicles, because it's incredibly frustrating seeing those dilapidated cars lying throughout the wasteland without the ability to actually use any of them. It would be a huge mistake to flood the world of Fallout with vehicles, sure, and I expect flying vehicles could particularly get out of hand, but to be able to travel around on a hunk of metal reminiscent of the Mad Max movies would be a total blast. If Fallout 4 does end up being online, this adds even more insane possibilities.
