Fallout 4: 10 Majorly Overlooked Features That Will Be Amazing

9. Dynamic Weather Changes - Storms?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ty2hU0Y7kAg Noted by Todd Howard in the 'Why Details Matter' video, Fallout looks to be taking influence from the Metro games i.e. making sure that despite the all-singing all-dancing 50s-style wasteland looking fairly inviting in the new screens, it'll have a bevy of dynamic weather systems ready to take you by surprise if you're not careful. There are a number of theories going on across Fallout's various forums eluding to the possibility that Bethesda are deliberately holding back on doing lengthier one-take demos, specifically because they want to keep some surprises for launch day. It's an amicable approach, and one that only prompts more speculation; was Howard speaking directly about a specific area of the game, or is it going to be more like Metal Gear Solid V's random torrential rain or sandstorms? Will we have to don armour or headpieces to survive the worst the wasteland has to throw at us - and how will that effect the general feel of being outside, versus the comfort of indoors? Lots of questions, but the idea of weather systems throwing a spanner in both you and your opposition's works - especially mid-fight - is a great one.
