Fallout 4: 10 Most Important Mods Every Player Needs

6. Enhanced Blood Textures

Some of your problems can be solved with a friendly chat and a pat on the back. Although, it can be difficult to spread the word of peace to certain troublemakers like the irradiated, flesh-eating ghouls, but usually a sawn-off shotgun blast to their ugly faces will get the point across pretty quickly. Splattered brains, cracked bones and a plethora of blood spilling out on the floor after wiping the enemy off the face of the Wasteland can be somewhat satisfying in Fallout 4.

For those who feel like more blood is always a wonderful thing, get your transfusion packs and mops ready for this next mod: Enhanced Blood Textures.

Every time you chop off some unlucky victim's head or plug them with a powerful blast, blood will spur out of their wounds way more realistically. Instead of appearing in a cloud of gore, it will spill out and fall towards the floor (thanks, gravity). Pools of the red stuff are considerably bigger and darker as well. Optionally, should anyone feel the need to tweak the sizes of the spillages, or even the colours, some handy files are available to edit these. Just be sure to keep a spare set of clothes handy, because things will most certainly get very messy.
