Fallout 4: 12 Most Intriguing Rumours So Far

1. Fallout: The Television Series

As anyone who has seen the fan produced Nuka Break series, it is entirely possible to do a Fallout style television series €“ and given the production values seen on shows such as The Walking Dead or Game of Thrones, it seems surprising that a Fallout type television series has been cooked up yet. But it seems that Bethesda has been working on this since 2009 to ensure that no-one else steals their thunder. Back in February of that year the company placed a filing with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for such a show €“ and they renewed it earlier this year in January. This is described as €œEntertainment services in the nature of an on-going television program set in a post-nuclear apocalyptic world.€ Fans would go crazy for such a show, and there are obvious similarities to the fan bases of those other television shows mentioned earlier. The series would probably be expensive, but Bethesda could be hoping that the success of Fallout 4 could push television producers over the edge and into the realm of belief that a potential series could be a big success. It isn€™t likely that it€™ll happen this year €“ because any piloting news would be all over the internet in a heartbeat and nothing has been heard on this subject at all. Likelihood (this year): 0/10Likelihood (next year): 4/10Likelihood (at some point): Inevitable

I'm a pop culture addict. Television, cinema, comics, games - you name it, and I've done it. Or at least read the plot synopsis on Wikipedia.
