8. The Return Of The Brotherhood Of Steel And The Enclave
While there have been multiple factions seen throughout the series so far, one of the real fan favourites has been the Brotherhood of Steel, a power armour-wearing faction who believe in saving technology. While they have had very briefly in some instalments, they were most prominently seen in Fallout 3 where the player character ends up working for them as they strive to drive out the Enclave. This wasnt the first time the Enclave have been the Big Bad of the Fallout universe, as they were placed in this role in Fallout 2 as well. They are what remains of the American Government and seek to resurrect this for their own ends (which, thus far, has been against the purpose of the player character). At the end of Fallout 3, the Enclave were being driven from Washington D.C. and it could be that the remnant has fled to Boston to seek an alliance with the Commonwealth. Naturally the Brotherhood would also be very interested in the androids in Boston as they represent very advanced technology by the time of the games setting, and so would very much like to get their hands on them. Also they would probably seek to put down the threat of the Enclave once and for all, while opening up trade links in the area having presumably pacified Washington D.C. Likelihood of the Brotherhood and Enclave both being factions in Fallout 4: 8/10
