The armour seen in the Fallout series hasnt changed much over the years, with standard types seen such as leather, metal, combat and power. While the recent Fallout games have increased the number of uniquely different outfits, there so far hasnt been any degree of customisation to the individual armours and clothing options seen within the game. But Fallout 3 and New Vegas took a look at Bethesdas Elder Scroll series and brought in some tweaks that had only been previously in that series. Following the release of Skyrim, fans expect that some of the improvements seen in that game will make their way over to Fallout 4. The primary option that fans are gagging for is armour customisation. For the most part it involves breaking down the sets into smaller pieces as seen in many RPGs. Fallout thus far has only broken away the headgear from the main suits. But fans want to go one step further and design their own skins for armours. Whether or not this appears remains to be seen, but splitting armour up into multiple pieces seems like a sensible move. Itll enable more combinations and frankly if you blow someones head off with a plasma rifle then perhaps their helmet wouldnt be that much use to the player character. This would add to the realism, and could be reserved for an enhanced Hardcore mode as seen in New Vegas. Likelihood: 7/10
