Fallout 4: 7 Huge DLC Rumors And Possible Locations
2. Buried Alien City In The Mojave Desert
This heading may read like I've just plucked a couple of fun-sounding Fallout buzzwords from the air and spliced them together into a fun but ultimately random DLC idea, but this is closely related to one of the side-quests in Fallout 4. In the Secret of Cabot House quest, the scientist Jack Cabot is studying a mysterious ancient artefact that has anti-ageing qualities. In one of the endings for the quest, Cabot says that he's thinking of travelling to the Southwest, because his father believed that "there was another alien city buried somewhere in the Mojave Desert", where more artefacts could be found. The guy could well be a crackpot, but the Mothership Zeta DLC in Fallout 3 and crashed UFO site in Fallout 4 proved that the universe the games are set in is one in which aliens have contacted Earth, so it's not unthinkable that aliens could've settled on Earth at some point between the Great War and the steady repopulation of the surface. Something that works against this DLC happening is that it'd take players to a completely different part of the country to the main game, whereas DLCs for Fallout 3 and New Vegas tended to be set close to their central locations. Still, it'd be interesting to compare the arid, sunny climes of the Mojave Desert in Fallout 4 with how they looked in New Vegas...
