Fallout 4 DLC Wishlist: 9 Things Fans Demand
A Nick Valentine Detective Agency mission pack. Make it happen.
Fallout 4 Review Few things land with such a weird bang-squish as Fallout 4. Going from "MYGODITSREAL" to "Oh... it looks like Fallout 3" within months of the announcement turning into gameplay footage. That said, Fallout 4 still became one of the best open-world games of all time, but it does crib a hell of a lot of ideas and mechanics from the last two instalments, 'casualising' its approach (Reddit's words, not mine) to what was once a way more intense and stat-heavy franchise. Crafting and base-building are the order of the day if you're looking for new things to see and do, alongside picking a direction and seeing what you can find anyway. But therein lies the rub: Right when you're having a blast with Fallout 4 is when it shows its hand; you've done all of this stuff before. Exploration, V.A.T.S., befriending a certain canine, amassing tons of loot and trading it for caps to get bigger weapons... we've been here and done that, multiple times. So, with Bethesda countering this by saying their upcoming DLC would be based on whatever the fans requested most, it's down to everyone to shout loudest and get their voices heard. What would you put into Fallout 4 to make it better?
