Fallout 4 DLC Wishlist: 9 Things Fans Demand

6. More Weapons, Items & Increased Drop-Rates

A crucial part of the DLC rollout will be for Bethesda to decide how they're going to turn so many fan requests into either standalone DLC packs with new environments, mission packs, amendments/bug fixes, feature sets, etc. If we go down the amendment route, let's see way more weapons added, especially the frequency of legendaries, as they're always the most fun to try out. Fallout 4 has a bit of an identity problem when it comes to this sort of thing, as on the one hand, it's happy for you to indulge in ludicrous creations like baseball bats with spinning buzzsaw blades or pistols with incendiary bullets - then on the other, the story is a fairly serious tale about an individual rescuing their infant son. It hardly affords you the time or inclination to ditch your son in favour exploration or experimentation. Say Bethesda indulge in the crazy for a while, perhaps with this DLC we get an option to give ourselves a far higher chance of getting legendary items - maybe even infinite ammo for all of them, too. Bethesda's random number-generator that spits out guns would do the work of producing infinite things for us to gobble up, and then it'd just be a case of letting the player decide whether they want to find them one by one out in the Wasteland, or be given a handful by a specific NPC.
