10. ...But It's Actually Pretty Colourful

Even though the poly count itself is a little underwhelming, there's little point arguing against the distinctive palette that Fallout 4 is bringing to the table, which is a far cry from what came before in one major way: colour. It's been something of a running joke that the Fallout games revel in rusted copper, green and other Earthy shades, while eschewing anything much brighter than that. The new game, though, is clearly branching out somewhat: sure, there are the pre-nuke flashback sequences which are rendered in pristine colour, but even the wasteland itself looks decidedly less drab (for instance, the red crane in the above picture), while still maintaining the same bleak aesthetic which made the series so popular. Above all else, Fallout 4's colour scheme looks diverse, and that's certainly something to be mad excited about...
