Fallout 5: 10 Ways To Blow Fallout 4 Out The Water

2. A New Engine

The immense hype felt by fans after the official reveal of F4 was then followed by a realization that the game's graphics weren't as impressive as they would've liked. Now, initially, this was just another case of internet nitpicking, especially considering there was only one trailer released at the time. However, when the game finally came out, it was hard to deny that it would've benefited from an upgrade in the engine department.

The glitches were overwhelming, the graphics underwhelming, and the need for a stronger game engine was apparent. With F5, Bethesda can learn from the issues they faced with the Creation Engine and find an engine that bolsters gameplay AND aesthetics in every way possible.

A new engine would help prevent major glitches, help the game look beautiful, and make gameplay smooth as ever with 60 FPS during combat (We can dream at least).

Bethesda received plenty of flak for the somewhat outdated engine, and there's no doubt that they'll learn and adapt to the times with a new engine that hits industry standard graphics, as well as minimal game-breaking glitches. Also, some overtime work on the companion A.I would be tops as there's only so many doorways that can be blocked before players lose their collective minds.
