Fallout 5: 10 Ways To Blow Fallout 4 Out The Water

3. The Nemesis System Within Wasteland Factions

Shadow Of Mordor Nemesis
Bethesda

To put it simply, the Nemesis System would make just about any game better. It would also fit perfectly into Fallout as there are numerous factions that you experience throughout the game that are each interesting and different in their own ways. Allowing players the ability to rise/fight through the ranks of these factions would give additional life to the game world, along with giving extra personality to each faction.

Each faction would have a hierarchy, with the protagonist able to work their way to the leader, which would then trigger an option to lead the faction or destroy it, depending on the player's personal opinion of the group. This way, the power of choice remains in the player's hands instead of the developer's.

This system could also end up impacting the story, leading to a plethora of potential campaign conclusions as each player has their own gameplay experience to share. Even though few Fallout play-throughs are remotely identical, the defining aspect of the Nemesis System is that NO play-through is the same, and that would only make Fallout more replayable than ever.
