Fallout 5: 10 Ways To Blow Fallout 4 Out The Water

4. Incorporate Time-Travel

Listen, it's not as far-fetched as it sounds. Fallout isn't exactly known for its gritty realism, with the green, Wasteland-roaming mini-Hulks called Super Mutants the perfect example of the game's absurdity. Besides, if you were one of the people who wished that Fallout 4 spent more time in the pre-war era, then this idea could take care of that desire.

Time-travel could be introduced in a storyline where the Wasteland is doomed due to an impending event that will wipe out all of civilization. It would then be up to the player to recruit someone who could build a machine to go back and stop the apocalypse from happening. The story could even include a decision where you pick to save the present-day Wasteland or to go back and remain in the pre-war era.

It would also offer players a chance to see the pre-war world where nobody fears nuclear war and everyone is just going about their lives in normal society. The possibilities and potential moral dilemmas are endless as the player gets to decide which timeline is worth preserving and which one is worth eliminating.
