Fallout 5: 13 Things We Want To See

10. Less Bullet-Sponge Enemies

Fallout 5
Bethesda

A long-standing issue in the series has been bullet-sponge enemies, who require hilariously plentiful amounts of ammo to be pumped into them before dying.

It not only becomes tiresome incredibly fast, but it feels like a lazy way to artificially inflate the game's difficulty, rather than giving enemies clever attack patterns or forcing players to engage them in any unique or interesting way.

What's most odd is that this sponginess endures in even the Survival mode, where fans naturally expected a greater deal of "realism", and this sort of combat has no place.

How Likely Is It?: It would require a substantial redesign of enemy attack routines, which probably isn't Bethesda's priority, so not very likely. 2/10
