Fallout 76: 8 Mechanics Fallout 4 Ditched That Must Return
3. Faction Affinity
Being able to see what terms you were on with different factions was exceptionally helpful. It allowed you to see the impact you were having by following certain questlines and was ultimately instrumental in knowing just how far you could strain certain relations.
In Fallout 4, the system was completely removed. The most you got was a sudden pop-up saying that you were about to monumentally piss someone off, despite the fact that you had no idea that that faction was even going to play a part in that specific quest.
It was a relatively small inclusion, but it gave the player more information about their actions and made it feel like choices mattered; something that Fallout 4 sincerely lacked in.
